Totnes Festival Success

The Totnes Festival was undoubtedly a success and the Totnes Heritage Trust played its part by organising two events.

The first was the World Premier of the short film “The Talking Forest “ produced by Tony Gee and showing the puppet show created by schoolchildren from Kingsbridge and Totnes making us all aware of the need for a climate and biodiversity emergency.

This was followed by a riveting performance by Bev and Peter of Jazzient that captivated the enthusiastic audience over two sets. Brubeck’s “Take Five” was rearranged to give it a refreshing relaunch. Look out for an encore in the autumn.

Other events held in St Mary’s Church attracted large crowds and the ticket proceeds will go towards the the church’s renovation reordering project being organised by the Totnes Heritage Trust.
